The Farm at Pond Brook, located on 88 acres of land near Spofford Lake, has never before been offered for sale according to Platinum Luxury Auctions, which is managing the sale. Patricia Paquette of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate | The Masiello Group is the listing agent. There is no starting bid. The auction is scheduled for Oct. 15.

The 15,707-square-foot mansion at 140 Pond Brook Road was built in 1991 in a Georgian colonial style, according to public records. The auction listing notes six bathrooms, eight full and three half bathrooms, a glass-roofed pool, spa and sunroom. The pool also possesses a hand-painted wall mural, as do the dining room, central bathroom and master bath.
