The Concord Monitor is looking for a buyer for its headquarters just north of downtown Concord.
The 103.65-acre property has two buildings on its site, a 37,892-square-foot, 3-story office building adjacent to a 32,421-square-foot industrial/warehouse/distribution building that is currently home to the paper’s printing press. The warehouse portion of the building has ceilings between 14 and 28 feet high.
The company is asking $6.49 million for the property, according to the listing for 1 Monitor Drive. The cap rate has not been disclosed.
According to the newspaper’s parent company, Newspapers of New England, the newsroom will move closer to downtown Concord and therefore to the individuals the paper covers. The company said it is building a new printing press in Penacook.
