A Manchester-based credit union plans to relocate its headquarters to the opposite side of downtown.
Members First Credit Union plans to build a 18,000-square-foot, 3-story headquarters building at the corner of Elm and Salmon streets. The facility is expected to open in early 2021.
“We are very excited to embark on this next chapter in the Members First story,” Bruce Leighton, Members First Credit Union president and CEO, said in a statement. “Now that we’ve expanded our membership throughout the state of New Hampshire, it’s important that we maintain our commitment to provide the best possible experience for both our members and our employees. This new facility will help ensure we meet that promise well into the future.”
The new headquarters will also include two drive-up ATM lanes and a full-service branch facility, designed around an open concept layout that eliminates the traditional teller line. Both the credit union’s executive and back-office support teams will be located there. All staff will be relocating from Members First’s current 44 Bridge St. headquarters on the south side of downtown Manchester.
