NH Bankers Ink Partnership to Aid Recruiting

As banks face one of the tightest labor markets in recent memory, the New Hampshire Bankers Association announced it was partnering with Franklin Pierce University to help lenders recruit new workers and better train existing ones.

“We jumped at the opportunity FPU offered for our bank and trust members and their immediate families to advance their careers and provide some relief for educational expenses, whether it be continuing education or their children embarking on their college journey,” NH Bankers President Kristy Merrill said in a statement. “We’re pleased to have a partner as well regarded as Franklin Pierce University and to help promote their educational programs.”

FPU will also offer the ability to apply for FPU credits through their Prior Learning Assessment process for specific job-related certifications or training.

“I’m proud of Franklin Pierce University’s partnership with the NH Banker’s Association. By working together, we are providing members and their families with opportunities for a clear path to professional success in today’s evolving employment landscape,” FPU Executive Director of Professional Programs & Partnerships Heather LaDue said in a statement.
