A former lumber company property will be reborn as storage units for contractors and small businesses.

The 5-acre property at 143-145 Runnells Bridge Road in Hollis was the site of the Holt Lumber Co. for 50 years.

The new owner, an LLC controlled by Nashua resident Michael Coulombe, has begun converting the property into large storage units ranging in size from 900 square feet to 5,000 square feet with features like tall overhead doors and 15- to 27-foot ceilings.

Ben Mercuri of Benchmarq Realty was the broker in the $800,000 transaction. Financing was provided by a mortgage through Enterprise Bank.
