Design, engineering and development firm PROCON took home the prestigious Chairman’s Award at the Associated Builders and Contractors of NH/VT’s annual Excellence in Construction Award reception at the Manchester DoubleTree Hotel on Nov. 3.

PROCON was specifically recognized for its work on the Joyce Cummings Center at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston.

The Chairman’s Award recognizes one project that stands out from by embodying “the industry’s idealized qualities of teamwork, quality, professionalism, and commitment to safety for the betterment of the community,” ABC NH/VT said.

“The work done by PROCON is outstanding and encapsulates how ABC members work for the betterment of their community. The successful completion of this state-of-the-art facility was done on time, within budget and demonstrates how the success of a construction project is largely attributed to collaboration between the Owner, Engineer, and General Contractor,” 2022 ABC NH/VT Chairman Dan Smith said in a statement.
