Merrimack County Savings Bank’s branch tally just bumped up by one.
The bank held a ribbon-cutting earlier this month to formally open its new Windham branch, its eighth, located just off Exit 3 on Interstate 93 South.
The branch, at 1B Wall St., is staffed by Assistant Vice Present Silvia Croteau, branch services manager Amanda Lewis and universal bankers Melissa Cormier and Katherine Hitchcock.
The bank said its decision to open the new branch was driven by a desire to expand into Southern New Hampshire and it’s offering “several” promotions to put the new branch on area residents’ radars.
“I’m overwhelmed by the turnout at our grand opening celebration, as well as the support of the community throughout this endeavor,” bank President Linda Lorden said in a statement. “It was wonderful to see town officials and representatives from the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce in attendance, along with all of our vendors who helped bring this branch to life.
