Gregg Tewksbury, president and CEO of New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp, has been elected to serve on the American Bankers Association board of directors.
NHBM is the mutual holding company for Meredith Village Savings Bank, Merrimack County Savings Bank, Savings Bank of Walpole and NHTrust.
The official slate of officers and directors, including Tewksbury, were appointed to the board at the ABA’s recent annual meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Like most trade groups, the ABA board of directors offers the association’s professional staff strategic guidance and acts as a conduit to the group’s larger membership.
“It is a privilege to be elected to serve on the ABA Board and to have the opportunity to represent banks of all sizes during such a dynamic time for our industry,” Tewksbury said in a statement. “I look forward to working with my peers across the country to help shape a strong, inclusive, and resilient banking future.”
