Eastern Bank

Boston-based Eastern Bank said it’s financed a multi-site affordable senior housing development in four New Hampshire communities: Tamworth, Bethlehem, Manchester and Pelham.

Sponsored by Housing Initiatives of New England Corporation, a nonprofit developer and operator of high-quality, affordable senior housing across New England, the financing will support the rehabilitation of 122 affordable senior housing units and construction of 28 new units for moderate-income seniors.

Eastern is providing $28.3 million in construction financing and $15.7 million in permanent financing, structured through a tax-exempt bond issuance by New Hampshire Housing and supported by Low Income Housing Tax Credits.

Ledyard Bank

Ledyard Bank announced $35,000 in gifts to six nonprofits across the state to mark its 35th anniversary.

The bank said it gave $15,000 to the Hand to Heart Project in Cornish, which provides free, in-home massage and compassionate touch to cancer patients and caregivers.

Other awardees include $7,5000 to the New England Healing Sports Association in New London, which provides adaptive and inclusive sports programing, and $5,000 to NH Children’s Trust in Concord.

Three additional nonprofits each got $2,500: Upper Valley Habitat for Humanity, Family Promise of Southern New Hampshire and Fueled by Kids in Bedford.

Meredith Village Savings

Meredith Village Savings Bank announced it has promoted Tate Miller to assistant vice president and commercial loan officer. Based in the Bank’s Laconia office, Miller works closely with local businesses and nonprofit organizations to support their commercial financing needs.

Miller joined MVSB in 2022 as a commercial lending apprentice, where he worked alongside members of the bank’s commercial lending team to develop expertise in credit analysis, commercial lending and relationship management. He was promoted to commercial loan officer in 2024.

The Merrimack

Merrimack County Savings Bank said it’s hired Tom Ouellette as a mortgage loan officer, based in Nashua.

Ouellette brings 33 years of experience to his new role. The NMLS database states Ouellette was previously a senior loan originator with Guild Mortgage Company, and has also worked for Bellwether Community Credit Union and Bangor Savings Bank.
