Single-Family Sales, Price Up Year-Over-Year in February


Single-family home sales and prices were up year-over-year statewide in February, according to data compiled by The Warren Group, publisher of The Registry Review.  

Seven hundred and eighty-two single-family homes were sold in New Hampshire in February, a 3.17 percent increase from February 2018. The median sale price was $251,000, up 5.46 percent over the same time period. However, year-to-date, statewide single-family home sales are down 8.88 percent. This was the first month in the past 15 in which the number of home sales has increased on a year-over-year basis. This also marks the 36th consecutive month where statewide home prices increased on a year-over-year basis. 

Condominium sales saw a 6.27 percent decrease in the number of sales, from 287 in February 2018 to 269 February 2019. Year to date, condominium sales are down 15.4 percent. Prices increased by 5.33 percent over the same period, with the February 2019 median sale price hitting $188,533. February marked the fifth consecutive month of increases in the median condominium sale price.
