BAE Inks Second Major Relocation Deal

One of Southeast New Hampshire’s biggest employers has leased over 100,000 square feet of industrial space in Hudson.

BAE Systems has signed a deal to lease around 119,000 square feet of industrial space from Boston-based investment firm Novaya Real Estate Ventures at 36 Executive Drive. The property features 32-foot clear heights, 40 feet by 40 feet column spacing and “ample” loading and trailer parking, according to a Novaya announcement.

With BAE’s lease, there is still approximately 95,000 SF of available space at the property.

“The lease-up of 36 Executive Drive reflects the scarcity of class A industrial facilities north of Boston.  We are pleased to forge a new partnership with BAE Systems and welcome them to Hudson,” Novaya Principal Jeff Theobald said in a statement.

Novaya Real Estate Ventures was represented by Newmark Knight Frank’s industrial team.  BAE Systems was represented by Robert Rohrer and Andrew Robbins at Colliers International.

BAE will be relocating its Merrimack operations to the Hudson facility.

This marks the second major relocation deal for BAE this year. The company signed a 10-year lease on 193,000 square feet of office space at 3000 Goffs Falls Road in Manchester earlier this year to house up to 800 workers in its electronic warfare division as part of an expansion.
