Meredith Village Savings Bank
Meredith Village Savings Bank, part of New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp, announced a $2,500 donation to the Mount Washington Valley Soccer Club scholarship program.
The program helps eligible families cover player registration costs, easing financial barriers so more children can take part in the organization.
The bank also announced mortgage loan officer Bonnie Leighton has transferred from its Portsmouth office to its Rochester office.
Merrimack County Savings Bank
Merrimack County Savings Bank, part of New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp, said it’s donated $10,000 to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer New Hampshire.
The donation marks the 11th annual time the bank has donated to what is New Hampshire’s second-largest breast cancer fundraiser. The bank said its total contributions over those years surpass $100,000. The event raised over $400,000 last year.
“We always look forward to Making Strides and being part of a movement that unites us,” said Linda Lorden, bank president, said in a statement. “It’s inspiring to see the waves of pink walking alongside each other in honor of their loved ones who have been affected by breast cancer.”
Rockland Trust
Massachusetts-based Rockland Trust said it’s promoted Deborah Novotny to senior vice president and manager of its Nashua banking center.
Novotny will oversee a banking team serving businesses across Hillsborough County, the bank said.
She joined Rockland Trust in 2025 through the acquisition of Enterprise Bank.
“Debbie is a highly respected and trusted advisor whose commitment to helping business owners succeed has made a meaningful impact across New Hampshire,” Peter Rayno, senior vice president and regional commercial director, said in a statement. “Her deep commercial banking experience, strong leadership, and dedication to our communities make her exceptionally well positioned to lead our Nashua Commercial Banking Center and continue supporting the success of our clients.”
Savings Bank of Walpole
Savings Bank of Walpole, part of New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp, said it’s promoted Danielle Ruffo to senior vice president of community engagement and marketing.
Ruffo has worked for the bank for 19 years in residential and commercial lending, retail banking and finance.
“Dani has taken an idea about how we could become more meaningfully engaged in our community and turned it into something that is now part of who we are as a bank,” bank President Mark Bodin said in a statement. “Our highly visible presence across the region reflects the relationships Dani has built, the opportunities she has created for our employees to get involved, and her ability to connect our brand with the community we serve.”
