Bank of New Hampshire
Bank of New Hampshire, based in Laconia, has adopted COCC as its new core provider.
“Bank of New Hampshire was seeking a strategic partner that could help elevate customer experience, improve operational efficiency, unlock greater value from its data, and create flexibility to adopt new capabilities as the industry continues to evolve,” COCC said in its announcement.
The company credited its success to its client-owned cooperative model, which it said “aligned” with Bank of New Hampshire’s mutual structure, and its open-architecture core platform.
MVSB
Meredith Valley Savings Bank said it donated $5,000 to support the Meredith Fire Department’s new memorial to the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York City, Washington, D.C. and on a commercial flight that crashed in Pennsylvania that day.
As of publication, a dedication ceremony for the memorial was planned for Friday Sept. 11 of this year.
The memorial will be located in Meredith’s Hesky Park.
The Merrimack
Merrimack County Savings Bank announced the winner of its annual pet photo contest, chosen by counting the number of likes each photo got on the bank’s Instagram page.
The contest, in its fifth running, gives the winner a $500 cash prize and the right to name an animal shelter to which the bank donates another $500.
This year’s donation goes to the Friends of the Manchester Animal Shelter, chosen by Maria Gibeau, who won with a photo of her dog, Starsky.
