Mardin to Retire from MVSB


Meredith Village Savings Bank Assistant Vice President, Branch and Business Development Manager Nancy Mardin is hanging up her hat.

The bank announced she will be retiring on Nov. 8 after 15 years with the MVSB. Mardin is based out of the bank’s offices in Plymouth on 131 Main St.and 389 Tenney Mountain Highway, inside a Hannaford Grocery Store.

“Nancy’s expertise and capacity to build relationships has been an incredible asset to MVSB,” Senior Vice President Marcus Weeks said in a statement. “It has been my pleasure to work alongside her. Nancy is a well-respected employee and colleague, who will be sorely missed. We can’t thank her enough for her remarkable service and dedication over the years.”

Mardin’s career in banking spans 46 years. She joined MVSB in 2004 as the assistant manager of the Plymouth Main Street branch. In 2007, she was promoted to branch operations manager, and transferred to the Plymouth Hannaford location in 2011. Mardin was promoted in 2012 to branch and business development manager of the Plymouth Hannaford office and promoted again in 2019 to AVP, overseeing the downtown Plymouth location as well.

“I’ve had a wonderful time working at MVSB,” Mardin said in a statement. “The bank has always been incredibly generous to our local community and they take good care of their employees. I will miss all the great people I’ve worked with over the years, as well as our many loyal customers, many of whom I call friends.”

Outside of work, Mardin is program director and past president of the Campton Historical Society Board.
