Raymond-based Jewett Construction recently celebrated the opening of a new Jordan’s Furniture location, the chain’s first in Maine.

The store is now the largest furniture store in the state with over 120,000 square feet of showroom displaying furniture and mattresses, along with an extensive outlet center and was built by Jewett.

“Jewett Construction is thrilled to be celebrating the opening of Jordan’s Furniture. This is a monumental project for the state of Maine,” Jon Sirois, Jewett vice president of Maine operations, said in a statement. “We prioritized working with local subcontractors throughout the build-out, which allowed for hundreds of Maine companies to benefit from this new location being built. We know that this project will bring great shopping and fun to the community for years to come.”
