A Dover newspaper printing plant will become a facility for local packaging supplier Index Packaging following a $3.2 million sale.
Milton-based Index Packaging bought the former printing press facility of Foster’s Daily Democrat, which it ceased using in 2019. Chris Healey, of CBRE’s Manchester office, represented Index in the sale of the 45,938-square-foot facility.
Index said in a press release that it also bought 20 adjacent acres to accommodate its expansion plans, something Healey said was key to closing the sale.
Index has been expanding recently, buying two Massachusetts firms in the same space.
