Chase Bank is taking over the former Portland Pie Co. location in downtown Manchester for a new branch.
The location will open in a 4,100-square-foot storefront at 786 Elm St. in December. The highly visible location is set to be the bank’s fifth as it continues to put an emphasis on brick-and-mortar locations in an effort to grow its deposit share and lending presence in the Granite State.
“We want our presence to be where people live and work,” Laura Cortese, Chase’s Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont market director, said in a statement. “Manchester is very vibrant and continues to grow.”
Doug Martin and Andrew Robbins of Colliers international’s Manchester office represented the landlord, Colliers affiliate 788 Elm Street, LLC, and Adam Cirel of Atlantic Retail represented Chase.
