Manchester officials have approved a 220-unit development on the city’s outskirts.
Nashua developer The Stabile Companies had proposed a 46-building townhome development near the intersection of South Mammoth and Corning roads, near the city border with Londonderry.
The 34-acre parcel is currently woods and wetlands and was described to the Manchester Planning Board as Stabile Companies representatives as one of the last large development parcels in the city.
Developers had originally proposed the project, called Bartlett Preserve, in early 2025, and had been before the Planning Board since July to resolve city staff concerns about traffic at a congested nearby intersection, and conflicts with stormwater infrastructure and wetlands.
City staff had sought to have the developer either include accommodations for a reconfiguration of that intersection or other fixes.
Amenities include garages for each townhouse unit and a clubhouse with a fitness area and a “business area.”
The project received necessary zoning approvals in mid-2025.
