The Savings Bank of Walpole was once again ranked as one of the 85 best banks to work for in the United States in 2019 by the American Bankers Association. This marks the third year in a row that SBW has been included on ABA’s “Best Banks” list and the bank is the only bank in New Hampshire to be ranked.

“As a small, local bank, being included on ABA’s Best Bank to Work For in the nation is a great honor for Savings Bank of Walpole,” Savings Bank of Walpole President Mark Bodin said in a statement. “It’s a testament to the hard work of our employees as well as the loyalty of our customers and our community. It has taken everyone working together as a team to earn this achievement.”

The Best Banks to Work For Program, which was initiated in 2013 by American Banker, identifies, recognizes and honors U.S. banks for outstanding employee satisfaction.

Determining the Best Banks to Work For involves a two-step process. The first step involves an evaluation of participating companies’ work place policies, practices, and demographics. In the second step, employee surveys are conducted to directly assess the experiences and attitudes of individual employees with respect to their workplace. The combined scores determine the top banks and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final ranking.
