Small-scale developers will get a boost from a two-day virtual workshop being held by NH Housing, Build Maine and the Incremental Development Alliance.
The event, held Sept. 23 and 24, is designed to introduce the principles and implementation mechanisms behind neighborhood–based development projects, the Alliance said, and will offer specialized training about how to create small residential, commercial or mixed– use projects, like 1-3 story buildings with less than 20 units.
Workshop sessions will include sessions on elementary topics like how to evaluate zoning and construction arts to complex subjects like project finance. By the end, attendees will be more prepared to take the first steps on their own project, the Alliance said.
